Me and my two children obeyed the corona rules and waited outside the door. And were ignored. After we asked, we weren't allowed in or sit outside. The two couples after us already. Maybe you don't like children that much here.

A delicious cream puff when the weather is nice. Unfortunately not that easy to get a place due to the current situation or not having to wait long. So it's all the more beautiful to see that the owners react and have put a food truck next to the house and offer cream puffs ToGo. Very tasty and very friendly. Good luck with the food truck!

Food is good and comes quickly. The service was quite rude, annoyed and absent. Prices are high, but the place has always been full.

Very good selection of wonderful cream puffs! Everyone can find their favorite here. Good hygiene concept and care was taken that no one else could see my address details. The rush was great, although the weather wasn't ideal for a trip. Hence no 5th star because the atmosphere was hectic.

The café is nice and has a special offer with the cream puffs. We had to wait a long time for a seat. Unfortunately, there was not enough staff on site to clean the seats more quickly. You can't pay by card, which I can't support these days. In terms of price, it is rather overpriced.

We recommend. A wide range of cream puffs. The homemade lemonade is very tasty and refreshing. The service was very friendly. We'd love to come back

Great location directly under the castle - good place to go, but only has cream puffs to eat - the cream puffs taste great. Due to the high demand, the service and friendliness could be better.

Sau yummy. Absolutely nice staff that visits the table very often and asks for the right thing. Beautiful locatin directly under the castle. Highly recommended.

The castle view would be good if you were allowed to sit where you want. With 3 occupied tables during the week it is not understandable that you can only sit at the table with the worst view. Only cream puff variations - no other food. Little effort, maximum price and minimal friendliness.

Best Windbeutel ever...

Very tasty cream puffs. I think it's good to specialize, but I think it's a little too much of a good thing here. A two hearty dishes would round off the overall impression. Sure, you wouldn't blame an ice cream parlor for not serving roast pork, but the whole atmosphere just looks like a shop where you can get something other than desserts. It was probably the same in the past. Think about it;)

Mega delicious, huge windbags (option large - € 7.80) and very friendly staff with a sense of humor. I will come back!

After a long ascent to Burg Hohenstein, which is located next to the Hohensteiner Hof, the Windbeutel are definitely more than recommended. Because these are available in more than one variation and different sizes to buy. It is not only interesting to see the castle Hohenstein, but also to taste one of the puffs, which are particularly good here. In my opinion, worth more than a visit. 👍😊
